They decide to skip the barbecue and stay in their rooms because they are worried of the trouble they would cause if they went. Sonomi lets Kotaro go to Chinami and he confesses his love for her. Chinami causes another electrical breakdown that destroys all of the town's equipment and causes the building they were in to collapse.
