HUNG is unhappy to see CHING and HU being so friendly and
intimate. Her dissatisfaction grows as she learns that CHING

HU gives up his job as a foreign correspondent and returns
to Hong Kong. He discloses his findings concerning the explosion
of the liner on the newspaper. This arouses attention of the
police who decide}to look into the matter. Fearing that his
involvement will be revealed, KUAN has Ho murdered making
the whole act appear like HO suicide out of his sense of
guilt.
